Diwali Dishes

Ingredients

  • 500 gram tub of plain yogurt
  • 1 large tomato,
  • finely chopped 1 medium onion, finely chopped 1/2 cucumber, finely chopped 1 tsp + 1/2 tsp cumin powder 2 tsp fresh coriander, choppped 1 tsp coriander powder salt, black pepper and cayenne pepper to taste

Method

Whisk yogurt until smooth. Add in 1 tsp of the cumin, salt, black and cayenne pepper. Mix, then add tomato, onion, cucumber and coriander powder and mix well. Sprinkle the other 1/2 tsp of cumin on top and garnish with fresh coriander. Keep refrigerated.
